Become a SME for core business systems (Finance, Point of Sale, Manufacturing ERP, HRIS and Salesforce).
Learn and be able to perform system related job duties of key users across the agency.
Serve as a liaison between users of key systems and 3rd party software/hardware vendors.
Assure that sufficient end user security procedures are in place and followed for core business systems.
Import of data and quality assurance of the imported data
Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security and metadata
Design, build and support the data warehouse
Keep accurate hardware and software inventory.
Perform system update and recovery operations when required.
Assist the Vice President of Information Technology in set up and maintenance of the organization's disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
In critical situations, provide end user help desk support for hardware, software and peripherals. Perform basic hardware repairs and upgrades as necessary.
Assures all systems and software installations conform to corporate and departmental policies, standards and requirements.
Document and follow IT processes and procedures, maintain a IT knowledgebase.
Handle highly confidential information/material.
Provides coverage for other members of the IT team when necessary.
Perform system administration of agency systems.
Perform other assignments and duties as required.
Requirements EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and equivalent skills and specific training or certifications.
EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) years combined enterprise level technical support and systems implementation experience in a Microsoft environment.
Salesforce experience is helpful.
Experience working with third party applications and exposure to software implementation in functional business areas such as finance, point of sale, manufacturing and HRIS systems
Experience with data migrations
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
Proven experience working in the customer and supplier facing role with strong verbal, written and administrative skills.
Technical understanding/experience in areas such as MS Server, Hyper-V, SQL, SSRS, dashboard implementation, data warehousing, system administration, PowerShell, Visual Basic, Power BI, Salesforce or Caseworthy administration and development.
Successful candidates should also have an analytical mindset, strong project management skills and customer service focus.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive.
Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Light lifting may be required for system or peripheral setup situations. MENTAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to meet performance goals and timelines across multiple lines of business.
Required to remain objective and to appropriately respond while serving internal and external customers.
MACHINES/EQUIPMENT: Use of a personal computer at an advanced level WORKING CONDITIONS:
Interact positively in the community, as well as, office and industrial settings.
Some duties necessitate working before or after the normal business day or on weekends.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Local travel is required.
This position will be co-located in Detroit and Dearborn but regular travel to other Goodwill facilities in the 5 county Metro Detroit area will be required.
Must possess a reliable vehicle, possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan driver's license and proof of insurance.
Must demonstrate high standards of ethical conduct.
