Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. The Assistant DON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the delivery of exceptional care to our homebound patients. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and supervising nursing services provided to home care patients.

• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and protocols.
• Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies and procedures.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

• Handle administrative tasks, such as documentation, scheduling, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in INDIANA is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Minimum of 3] years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of home care best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
