About the Position
As their space explodes with activity, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior Data Operations Solutions Manager to oversee aspects of our day-to-day SaaS Operations, manage process and information quality improvement initiatives and support the data operations components of customer and platform implementations.
Role:
This is an individual contributor position that requires minimum of 5 years of technical and execution experience working in a data operations or data management capacity. The position will be working on execution and improvement of production data operations processes with a strong focus on data integration and data exchange scenarios including regular transmissions between multiple organizations.
The position will also have a support role in the successful delivery of the data operations components of new customer or platform implementations.
Responsibilities:
• Gathering and analyzing data across business functions to establish standards for product implementation projects
• Drive discussions and decisions with technical data teams to produce solutions that will impact database models, data architecture designs, etc.
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis from within and outside of department.
• Maintain & improve daily monitoring of our integration platform, which manages data feeds between our SaaS platform and our clients enterprise systems
• Developing scripts to process data to support business analysis, benchmarking, and optimization efforts
• Design, Develop and maintain data quality scorecards including measures, definitions, KPIs
• Conduct root cause analysis and understand impact for data feed issues; present findings and proposed solutions
• Lead development and implementation of data quality improvement processes
• Work with database teams on one-time and/or ongoing improvements for fixes
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies that impact database modeling and design from an integration and data quality perspective
• Interact and coordinate work with other IT Services teams.
• Responsible for updating documentation of our integration platform.
• Where appropriate, independently create data sets for analysis using analytic and database tools.
• Ability to diagnose, research, and resolve technical issues independently or as a cooperative member of a team.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years technical and execution experience in data operations or data management organization
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server services development and maintenance with particular emphasis on building and deploying SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Solutions
• Working knowledge of data modeling and associated tools
• Working knowledge of creation and maintenance of information process flows
• Excellent analysis and data logic skills
• Ability to collaborate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to manage priorities and timelines
• Extremely responsive, able to work under pressure in crisis with a strong sense of urgency
• Conscientious, organized, self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential future issues
• 24/7 on call responsibilities on a rotational basis
Nice to have:
• Experience with accounting and billing systems
• Familiarity with the health insurance industry
• Have experience working in context of application systems that involves integration with external systems.
• Experience with data integrations between legacy systems and web based cloud services
• Familiarity with Biztalk Server workflows and orchestrations
