Job Description: Senior Project Manager (PMP) - Technical

Summary:

Apply senior-level project management best practices to various technical endeavors including application development, infrastructure enhancements, and cloud initiatives.

Key stakeholders include: Developers, Engineers, Support, Vendors, Executives and an array of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Work closely with stakeholders in developing the major project plan components including:

• Business Case (Justification)
• Functional Requirements
• Stakeholder Registry
• Communications Plan
• Governance / Change Control processes
• Tools, charts, documents
• Scope Management Plan
• Resource Management Plan
• Schedule Management Plan
• Quality Management Plan
• Cost Management Plan
• Risk Management Plan

Facilitate meetings with the core team, extended team, SMEs and project sponsors.

Maintain meeting schedules, define agendas, manage invitations and schedules, document meeting decisions and action items.

Maintain the precise status of all aspects of the project at all times, and be able to articulate the status to stakeholders at any level.

Required skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of project management software (Smartsheet, MS Project or other)
• Familiarity with major Cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Suite
• PMP certification through PMI.org
• 5 years of experience in Project management

• Excellent communications skills
• Honest, organized and highly reliable
• Multiple certifications a plus!
• Ability to work independently and ethically
