This is a full-time, Chicago-based hybrid position.

Job Summary: 

This role's primary responsibility is triaging client integration issues, monitoring shared communication channels for current integrations, and facilitating effective communication between clients and the engineering team. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer will be responsible for updating documentation and assisting with ad hoc requests related to staging environment setup and data requests.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor shared Slack channels for small to midsize clients, promptly addressing and triaging integration issues.
• Work with integration clients and partners to diagram system & API flows and align these flows with our scaling platform functionality.
• Be a technical payments subject matter expert and represent the full capabilities of AeroPay.
• Investigate backend logs to identify the root cause of integration issues and create tickets for the engineering team to address.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on issue resolution progress.
• Update the change log in the documentation to reflect any product updates or new releases.
• Notify clients of changes to documentation and ensure they have access to the most up-to-date information.
• Assist with ad hoc requests, including staging environment setup and analytics requests, to support client integration efforts.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to streamline the integration process.

Qualifications/ Tools:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Solutions Engineering or relevant technical customer-facing experience.\
• Experience working with the following technologies: Python, JavaScript, SQL, RESTful APIs, AWS, Git, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Proficiency with REST APIs and SDK implementation. 
• Understanding of Jira or experience with a similar ticketing management system.Understanding of Datadog or experience with a similar system of triaging issues.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to effectively diagnose and address technical issues.
