Advatix is Hiring a Director, Innovation Team Near Houston, TX
Position Summary:
This is a key leadership position in the newly formed Innovation Team with Advatix (a GCG company)
and has the responsibility for profitable and expedited growth of the AI-based Innovation capabilities
and services to support Advatix technology solutions, consulting/CXMC services and other GCG
Companies (XPDEL and Archway). The team lead will build a small team to conceptualize and prototype
2-3 use cases through this first fiscal year that integrates AI capabilities with recent hardware
innovations related to AR (Augmented Reality), sensor and drone technologies.
Role Overview:
As the Director of Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our supply chain
operations. You will lead the exploration, development, and integration of advanced technologies
including AI, AR, IoT, and Drones. Your strategic vision and leadership will drive the creation of
innovative use cases from concept through prototype, ensuring they deliver tangible value and
competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with company goals, focusing on
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize innovative supply chain solutions that improve efficiency,
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and prototype new technologies and processes, ensuring
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging creativity and
- Establish partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and industry leaders to
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and lean startup principles in the development and
- Ensure all innovation projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes across all levels of the organization and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience (8 years) in innovation management, product development, or
- Proven success in developing and implementing innovative solutions using AI, AR, IoT, and/or
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive highperformance teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry, including current challenges,
- Strong project management skills, with experience in agile and lean methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with
