Position: Japanese Bilingual Assistant Accounting Manager
Location: South Bay, CA (on-site)
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Employment: Exempt, Direct-Hire, Full-Time
OVERVIEW:
An international logistics company in Carson is currently seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager in Carson, CA. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Assistant Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing month-end close procedures, maintaining the general ledger, analyzing budgets, and assisting with audit preparations by supervising accounting staff. The ideal candidate will have bilingual Japanese skills and four or more years of accounting experience, including supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Prepare financial analyses and reports.
Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger account balances.
Ensure the accuracy of Accounts Payable and Receivables performed by accounting staff.
Compile records of present and past operations, trends, and costs.
Supervise, provide direction, and delegate tasks to subordinate staffs.
Work with external auditors and provide information as necessary.
Troubleshoot all accounting problems in a timely manner.
Special projects may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 4 years of accounting experience and 1 years of supervisory experience required.
Bilingual Japanese and English skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
