Insurance Customer Service Representative job details include:
Pay rate: $15 - 16/hr.
Schedule: 8am - 5pm

  • Conduct thorough consultations with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and financial situations.
  • Develop expertise in a range of insurance products, including property, casualty, life, health, and annuities. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.
  • Use effective sales techniques to promote insurance products and services to clients. Customize insurance solutions based on individual client requirements.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other sales techniques. Follow up on leads promptly and efficiently.
  • Facilitate the issuance of insurance policies by gathering necessary information, completing applications accurately, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns, and offering ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional insurance products to existing clients to meet their evolving needs and increase revenue.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policies. Ensure all documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies while conducting sales activities and interacting with clients.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills through training programs, seminars, and self-study to enhance performance and stay competitive in the insurance market.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, cold calling, and up selling. Insurance license is a plus.
