We are as committed to and passionate about your success as we are about the companies that we represent.Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all administrative functions in office setting for an established construction firm.Client phone supportRun Bi-Weekly PayrollPrepare and enter daily cash receipts including check, ACH and wiresPrint and mail credit memosPrint and mail daily invoices and monthly account statementsMaintain file archive of sales orders, credit memos and check depositsProcess new credit applications, request trade references and D&B reportsCoordinate with managers in regards to the status of credit applicationsOrganize and maintain completed customer credit files in our database as well as hard copy filesAssist with general accounting including reconciliation and data entryWork on special projects as directed and perform other tasks as neededWill be working cross-functionally as part of a closely knit team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum high school diploma required, AA or Bachelors preferred. Minimum of 3 years of AP/AR, Credit and/or General AccountingAdditional experience with Payroll preferred.Must have solid computer skills with working knowledge of Excel & MS word & Outlook and complex accounting software (Sage/Timberline preferred)Must have prior experience working with a construction companyMust be proactive and quick learnerExcellent written and oral communication skillsFlexible and problem solverStrong organizational skills and attention to detailMust have aptitude for accuracy, detailed-oriented, analytical / inquiring mind-set, ability to set priorities, excellent communication skills, ability to get results and creativelyAbility to make decisions, prioritize, find solutions, and work independentlyMust be capable of handling multiple responsibilities concurrentlyQualificationsRESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and enter daily cash receipts including check, ACH and wiresPrint and mail credit memosPrint and mail daily invoices and monthly account statementsMaintain file archive of sales orders, credit memos and check depositsProcess new credit applications, request trade references and D&B reportsCoordinate with Sales Representative in regards to the status of credit applicationsOrganize and maintain completed customer credit files in our database as well as hard copy filesAssist with general accounting including reconciliation and data entryWork on special projects as directed and perform other tasks as neededWill be working cross-functionally as part of a closely knit team.
