Advanced Spine and Pain, LLC is Hiring a Facility Billing Lead Near Phoenix, AZ
The Facility Billing Lead will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of facility claims and contribute to the flow of our ASC's revenue. This is a fast-paced environment committed to producing the highest quality of work. Facility Billing Lead will support the billing department by assisting with managing incoming and outgoing charges and payments while verifying and ensuring accuracy and completeness for a complete billing cycle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Precisely analyzes documents to obtain the appropriate CPT Codes (procedures) and ICD-10 Codes (diagnosis) when coding all claims.
Effectively analyze, complete, send, and track all claims submissions on multiple entities/providers.
Ensures the review, investigation, and re-submission of any pending and/or missing claims.
Handle the follow-up of outstanding facility A/R for all payers.
Handle all facility correspondence related to insurance or patient account, contacting insurance carriers' patients, and as needed to get the maximum payments on accounts and identify issues or changes to achieve the maximum profitability.
AMD Charge Entry - Notify procedures/surgery team administrative of duplicate accounts and missing insurance.
Missing Appointment List (Missed Visits)
Run report weekly and removed visit #’s for existing claims.
Verify cancelations and reschedules.
Create claims when necessary.
Coordinate with team on A/R claims to work.
Import ERA’s to the ERA Center when available.
Post ERA Center payments and Various Citizen deposits.
Reconcile to Citizen’s
Work Zero Pay EOB’s/Remits and Aged A/R
EDUCATION
Associate degree in a related field or 4 years of experience.
Certified from college or Technical School.
EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years Billing/Accounts Receivable with ASC experience.
Interventional pain experience is a big plus.
Certified coder with at least 2 years of Ambulatory surgery billing experience.
Next Gen Office (NGO) and Advanced MD experience preferred.
Experience in Pain Management and Anesthesia preferred.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD.10 and the ability to follow coding guidelines.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Billing Experience or Medical Office Experience.
Strong office and computer skills, experience with paperless workflows.
Prior use of practice management and EMR programs.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, MS Word, and Excel.
Understanding of insurance benefits, adjustments, reviews, authorizations.
