Job Description:
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the PM (Project Manager) to support various assignments related to the construction of the Central Utility Building and Industrial Utilities installations. This role is ideal for an individual with a background in Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) disciplines, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in project management within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support Novo PM: Assist the Project Manager in various tasks related to the planning, coordination, and execution of the Central Utility Building and Industrial Utilities installations.
- Assignments Execution: Execute assignments given by the PM efficiently and effectively, ensuring that tasks are completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordination: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and vendors, to coordinate activities and ensure smooth progress of the construction process.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and other project-related records.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality checks and inspections to ensure that construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the PM and other project team members, providing regular updates on assignment progress and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Some experience or coursework in CSA disciplines is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
