• Maintain adherence to standards of safety
• Ensure that required documentation is filed
• Assist in creating and managing project budget for all assigned projects
• Develop pre-construction RFP package
• Assist in conducting project meetings, setting milestones and formulating monthly owner report
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications) including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders
• Update project schedule; ensure project quality control and establish overall project logistics
• Assist in managing the closeout process
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project
• Maintain and grow strong subcontractor and industry relationships by attending organizational functions and networking.
• Proactively review and own all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time. Prepare and maintain administrative logs (RFI, RFP, Material Tracking, Submittals, and general document control.)
• Attend and participate in project meetings, assist the Project Manager with the preparation of progress report packets and meeting minutes.
• Proactively update and own all clarification/changes, directives, RFI’s, etc. in project management software, fully coordinate with project team and ensure as-built drawings and are updated.

• Valid driver’s license
• 30-Hours OSHA
• Safety certifications as required
• High school diploma required, four-year degree from an accredited university within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations strongly preferred
• 2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
• Previous experience on commercial job sites strongly preferred
• Passion for construction and our industry; ability to recognize and seek quality
• Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam
• Possesses a sense of urgency.
• Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking abilities are required in order to find solutions to various issues while prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
