Project Manager - interior/Exterior Wall Systems
Carlsbad, California
Summary:
Responsible for effective site project management, ensuring compliance with construction principles and timely delivery. Maintain accurate reporting to management.

Duties:

  • Support field operations with tools, materials, and information.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and negotiate purchases.
  • Manage project finances and coordinate with field and BIM divisions for design.
  • Implement job procedures, document controls, and assure timely milestones.
  • Create and manage QC reports and supervise project team.
  • Facilitate meetings and monitor construction schedules.
  • Conduct project progress walks and prepare monthly billings.
  • Coordinate mobilization and utility set-up.
  • Verify estimates and prepare project budget.
  • Evaluate project cost/impact events and negotiate Change Orders.
  • Lead construction project schedule development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or 5 years of progressive experience in the drywall trade preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial construction principles.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural Degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and mentor/train others.
