Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead our Run-Rate (Consumables) marketing team at Bio-Techne. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, enhancing customer retention, and elevating the awareness of our consumable product lines. This person is pivotal in shaping the success of our products in the market and ensuring a seamless collaboration between marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide strategic and visionary leadership for the Run-Rate (Consumables) marketing team, aligning strategies with overall business objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Marketing Plan and Revenue Management: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for the Run-Rate (Consumables) product portfolio, and drive revenue growth through effective marketing strategies and market positioning.

• Customer Engagement: Implement customer retention programs and initiatives to maximize customer lifetime value. Develop lead nurturing programs and collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective lead handoff and follow-up.

• Market Awareness and Advocacy: Enhance awareness of Run-Rate (Consumables) product lines through targeted marketing campaigns. Cultivate and leverage customer advocates through targeted advocacy programs.

• Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives. Provide regular reports and analysis to leadership on marketing performance.

• Content and Sales Enablement: Oversee the creation and management of compelling marketing content.

• Collaborate with sales enablement teams to develop effective sales tools and resources.

• Budget Management and Third-Party Collaboration: Manage the advertising and promotional budget for the product marketing team.

• Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Encourage professional development and continuous learning for team members.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business objectives.

• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate marketing strategies, initiatives, and results to executive leadership and other stakeholders. Ensure transparency and alignment with overall company goals.

• Innovation and Adaptability: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and adapt marketing strategies accordingly.

• Resource Optimization: Optimize resource allocation to maximize impact, ROI, and efficiency. Evaluate and implement technologies and tools that enhance marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a science related field, or equivalent experience.

• MBA preferred, Or a Master’s or PhD in a science field preferred.

• Requires 10 years of progressive experience in product marketing within the life sciences or biotechnology industry.

• Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing consumable products.

• Seven or more years of management experience is preferred. Strong leadership skills collaborating across functions and leading a high-performing team.

• Knowledge of the biotech and life sciences market and products

• Proven track record of delivering growth and launching products with increasing market share.

• Experience developing marketing strategies using both quantitative and qualitative insights.

• Leadership experience, highly analytical approach, and critical thinking skills

• Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with product and commercial teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
