Adfinitas Health is looking for a seasoned, passionatehospitalist medicine leader to helm our practice at Universityof Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute (UMROI) inBaltimore, MD.
Our ideal candidate will possess:

measures, such as HCAHPS, MHACS - High ethical standards and a commitment
to compliance. - Strong business judgment and acumen and
ability to adapt strategically tactically and strategically.
Ourhospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospitalsetting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, orderingtests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.
The MedicalDirector is responsible for leading and managing the Adfinitas Health programand providers at the facility, implementing and executing Operational andQuality Initiatives, fostering and maintaining positive relationships withstaff members as well as hospital clinical and administrative staff, and thefinancial performance of the program.
REQUIREMENTS
- Three years experience as a hospitalist
- BE/BC in Internal or Family Medicine
- Strong inpatient skill set
- Quality-focused team player
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality measures, such as HCAHPS, MHACS
- High ethical standards and a commitment to compliance
- Strong business judgment and acumen and ability to adapt strategically tactically and strategically Experience working with advanced practice providers
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration

University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute (UMROI) is the largest provider of inpatient rehabilitation care in the state of Maryland. UM Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute provides specialized rehabilitation services in each of its four 32-bed units. Each unit is staffed by a multidisciplinary team led by a rehabilitation physician collaborating in quality care delivery with the disciplines of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, therapeutic recreational, case management and dietary, in addition to consulting with other physician services such as ENT and Urology. UM Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute has provided inpatient services to over 20,000 patients in the past 10 years.UM Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute is located on the Baltimore City/County line with easy access to the Baltimore Beltway I-695 and I-70.
