Hybrid Schedule Customer Service Supervisor - Oswego, IL

Hours : 8 hour shift, 8-4 : 30pm

Salary : $75-85k (based on experience)

Our client is looking for a sharp Customer Service Supervisor to join their team. As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day activities of the customer service team and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsible to manage the daily customer service activities and act as role model and mentor to the customer service team.

Additionally, responsible to train new team members, represent the department in cross-functional meetings, and help to drive continuous improvement through the adoption of new technology and new processes within the department.

This position also may have direct customers to service.

Job Description :

  • Manage the day to day activities and the established KPI’s of the customer service team.
  • Support department and operation needs
  • Provide confirmations and updates to Customer, Sales, Production, and direct supervisor
  • Train new CSR hires and temp staff while also assisting with training / support of existing team members.
  • Acts as liaison with other Radiac departments as the leader of the department on daily issues and / or cross-functional meetings.
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies, elevating unresolved issues to department Director of Customer Service.
  • Pro-actively draw out customer information to better service order requirements and provide a high level of customer satisfaction through active listening skills
  • Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
  • Organize department workflow to meet customer deadlines
  • Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently, and with good communication skills
  • Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies
  • Review quotes, orders, shipping documents, and invoices for accuracy
  • Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals / systems
  • Recommends changes to established guidelines and procedures as appropriate.

Required Experience :

  • 4 years of experience as a Customer Service Supervisor / Manager in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP
