Facilities Manager - Seattle
ActivSpace LLC, a Seattle based company with a regional portfolio of commercial real estate in Seattle, Portland and the Bay Area is searching for an experienced Facilities Manager. This individual is responsible for directing building maintenance, capital projects and supervising the monthly unit turn over process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Manage contractors and vendors.
· Prepare capital, repair and maintenance budgets based on annual assessments.
· Understand contractor labor and material costs.
· Create scopes of work for projects and services.
· Negotiate and award contracts.
· Responsible for quality and cost control.
· Manage preventative maintenance programs.
· Train Customer Service Managers to perform designated routine maintenance tasks.
· Respond to all emergency situations.
REQUIREMENTS
· Must have 10 years experience maintaining commercial or residential real estate properties.
· Knowledge and understanding of building schematics, technical diagrams and blueprints.
· Strong communication and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project.
· Possession of valid driver's license, vehicle and insurance.
· Requires approximately 10-15% travel to properties in Portland and the San Francisco Bay Area.
