Description:

Actalent is seeking a Structural Engineer to work out of top customer's Center City, Philadelphia location focusing on Building Structures. Ideal candidate would have at least 4-5 years experience as a Structural Designer/Engineer for Building Construction (NOT bridge). They will be working on Structural Building design with all vertical building renovations and additions throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Projects range from 4 million to 165 million, most of which well into Construction Administration and construction. Most projects are mid sized commercial buildings with minimal high rise or residential. They must be well versed in all materials from wood frame to structural steel.

Currently working on projects for Temple, Drexel, $165mil Rowan project, School District of Philadelphia, and other general construction. Turning down work they are so busy. Candidates have ability to work on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications:

• 4-10 years professional experience as a Structural Engineer/Designer (No License required, just motivational tool on their years experience)
• Proficient with AutoCad and Revit (from an understanding standpoint not producing in it)
• Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Structural Engineering
• Understanding how to put a building together
• Ability to work in tandem with other Engineers on site and coordinate with them
• Must have BUILDING experience, not Telecom, Fiber optics, bridge and highway.
