RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with various tasks for the clinical research department, including central line port access/lab draws.
• Provide clinical and clerical support to clinical Research team.
• Collaborate frequently with Sr Research Coordinator to address ongoing process and workflow solutions.
• Will identify and escalate issues proactively to department leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital is preferred, at least one year of experience as an RCA-LPN in the Early Phases Unit.
• At least two years of medical/clinical work experience with oncology experience preferred
• Must have 30 hour IV certification or complete course within 90 days of employment.
• Current BLS certification is preferred. 
• Must be proficient with computer software such as Excel, Word and OncoEMR.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluency in the English language
• strong communication skills.
