Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our medical practice. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Room patients: obtain vitals, make updates to medical history, medication list, pharmacy

• Complete MIPS measures on each patient, fill out appropriate forms such as MDHAQ/BASDAI

• Prepare and clean exam rooms

• Unpack samples/supplies, put away and re-stock as necessary

• Prepare for appointments making sure all appropriate labs and imaging are received

• Appropriately interact with patients, providers, and other staff

• Respond to patient phone calls and provider tasks in timely manner

• Assist provider during exams/procedures as needed, administer injections as directed

• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills

• Certification in MA/ Licensure for LPN and above

• Prior clinical experience

• Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures, EMR

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Friendly, team player, excellent collaborator, and communicator
