We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Onsite Event Associate. Onsite Event Associates deliver exceptional customer service support for meetings and special events, working under the instructions of the Team Lead or Client Event Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring exceptional levels of customer service.

• Operating computers, iPads and/or cash registers, and registration software to facilitate attendee registration

• In the roles of Ushers and Ticket Takers, welcoming guests and ensuring proper seating arrangements. • Working under the instructions of a Client Event Manager or Team Lead.

• Ensuring the registration and information desks are clean and well organized & Performing crowd control and line monitoring.

• Setting up event signage and other decor as needed & Dispensing useful information to event attendees.

• Packing up equipment when the event is completed

Additional Information:

Applicants should understand that this position is project-based, and varies as our team is hired to provide onsite support for meetings and conferences in the DC Metro area (Washington, DC, Northern, VA, Prince George’s County, Montgomery County) and Baltimore, MD.

Onsite team size varies from as few as 1 associate to as many as 100 or more. Assignments/conferences range in length from 1-6 days, with the greatest number of associates working at the beginning of the conference. As a conference draws to a close, fewer associates are required.'

• Sunday-Saturday (meetings and events occur during all days of the week)

• Weekends Overtime, Shifts can range from 4 hours to 12 hours (On call (occasionally)
