- Supporting monthly close by making journal entries, producing reports, and reviewing discrepancies.
- Reconciling balance sheets and bank accounts.
- Ensuring proper transaction and account coding.
- Producing monthly financial statements and supplementary reports.
- Supporting the Controller and department with any other tasks and projects as assigned.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiar with general accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office software.
- Data entry skills.
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and current IRS guidance is not required but would be a plus!
