We are growing and have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician in our property Lockwood Apartments located in Silver Spring, MD.
What you will be doing
- In charge of the day-to-day maintenance of the property
- Prepare apartments for new move in’s and complete “make-ready” process of vacant apartments
- Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas, including snow, bulk trash and debris removal when needed
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment
- Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
What you will bring along
- 3 years of experience with painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and plumbing
- High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
- Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- Valid EPA/Universal certifications are highly desired
- HVAC certificate is highly desired
- Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
