Our client is a tier 1 manufacturer of high-quality automotive interior based just outside of Columbus, OH. They’re looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

Hours: 2:00pm – 10:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Salary: $25 - $36 / hour (OT T1/2 SUN DT)

Responsibilities:

• Enhance manufacturing processes to minimize machine downtime and reduce Quality Indicator (QI) points.
• Enhance part quality through material or process enhancements.
• Introduce innovative technology for new models.
• Execute Kaizen improvement activities as delegated.
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of ISO Procedures (9000 and 14000).
• Interpret and comprehend technical drawings.
• Analyze and resolve problems using methodologies like 5Ps and TTRs.
• Address production line calls and conduct equipment preventive maintenance.
• Uphold familiarity with QCD Guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and interpret PLC logic and drawings, executing minor programming changes.
• Assist in managing manual and drawing revisions.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Manage the storage and application of adhesive materials.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent; prior work experience preferred.
• Preferably three years of experience in electrical, hydraulics, welding, and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in Ladder Logic and PLC experience is essential.
• Familiarity with machine shop equipment, mechanical skills, National Electric Code, and OSHA regulations.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills; ability to work autonomously; adherence to safe work practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities and adeptness in reading schematics and diagrams
