We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Job Summary

• Ensure all calls are answered, completed and time recorded in eMaint.
• Run report Daily Labor Report by Technician check time daily or weekly
• Ensure PM’s are completed on time, when completed,
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures according to schedule.
• Call Team leader for testing
• COP area after PM make sure tool/locks are accounted for.
• Completed with time entry in eMaint
• Review PM to verify all items are corrected.
• PM’s that need modified (PMO) are to be noted and reported to Team Leader for review
• Review previous shift BDM work orders for any outstanding work.
• Perform maintenance and mechanical/electrical repair.
• Utilize all hand tools normally used by repair trade to perform duties.
• Responsible for routine servicing of forklift truck equipment. As needed for production use.
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping procedures on all maintenance jobs and work areas.
• Clean work area after repair, PM, or Project.
• Clean shop area when work is complete
• Maintain clean organized cart
• Maintain tool inventory
• Return shop equipment to original location and report any problems to your teamleader
• Follow all company rules and regulations.
• Perform any other job duties which may become necessary

• Possess experience in maintenance in manufacturing, industrial, heavy commercial or similar backgrounds.
• Dependable and able to maintain the attendance required to perform the job.
• Demonstrate either by interviews, performance, tests, experience or through observation by others, mechanical and electrical aptitude, skills and or potential.
• Individuals must be dependable, have good performance, communications, interpretation skills, and willing to take direction.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and fully understand: SOPs, SDSs, labeling, safety and health regulations, and procedures within the job, this job group and the plant.

• The job is in a dusty and dirty environment.
• Working in a hot and/or cold environment.
• Shift varies from early morning start, evenings and weekends.
• Required to wear respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.

• Must complete a formal training program.
• Must be able to perform heavy and arduous tasks.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
• Must be able to work in elevated platforms.
• Must be able to qualify for and wear a respirator.
• It is understood that if a job is offered, applicant must consent to taking a pre-employment drug screening test and/or physical examination as a condition of beginning employment.
• It may also be required that a drug screening test and/or physical examination be taken in the future as needed to determine fitness for duty.
