Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Case Manager. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to attorneys and clients throughout the legal process. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth. And... wait for it, you'll be able to leave at noon on most Fridays and get paid for a full regular day (when you meet eligibility requirements)! Core hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. with early release Fridays ending at 12:00 for core hour employees.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and gather relevant information for cases
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including drafting demands, correspondence, letters, texts and emails
- Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with clients
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather necessary information
-Conduct lien searches
- Track and Meet Deadlines
-Complete daily tasks
-Lead the Legal Assistants in a positive manner as they assist you in getting bills, records, reports and balance verifications
-Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the Case Management System
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in demand drafting and document review
- Familiarity with medical terminology and personal injury
- Exceptional phone etiquette with strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing notes and documents
- Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology
-Typing at least 45 words per minute
-Computer proficiency in Case Management system, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet
