Job Title: Development Manager
Reports to: Development Director
The Development Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing all development activities, including, but not limited to: program sponsors, event sponsors, in-kind sponsors, as well as managing AcA’s annual membership program. Candidate must have excellent communication, negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a clear understanding of the ethical behaviors needed in trust-based relationship building.
Focus Area 1: Donor Management
Success Statement: The Development Manager keeps organized records of prospects and donations and proactively plans, solicits, and executes a year-round schedule of fundraising activities.
Performance Standard:
Focus Area 2: Special Events Management
Success Statement: AcA events are well planned and executed to reach their financial goal and maximize attendee engagement.
Performance Standard:
Focus Area 3: Membership Management
Success Statement: New and returning members are kept engaged by regular communications and about events planned by AcA’s Development department.

Focus Area 4: Workplace Relationships
Success Statement: AcA has a cohesive team that supports one another and the mission of the organization.
