Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a System Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. 

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs Systems Integration Engineering and Implementation services across the enterprise for hardware, software, and applications.
• Coordinates all design and integration activities for IT services to ensure consistency and business focus.
• Analyzes the effectiveness and proper functioning of secure and resilient IT infrastructures, environments, applications and data/information resources and capability and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI 

Degree and Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.

Required Certifications:

• DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security CE)

Desired Certifications: 

• Professional-level Linux, VMware, Network, Storage, or Cloud certification
• ITIL Foundations certification 

Required Skills:

• Experience in Infrastructure/Data-center engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting one or more Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, and/or AIX systems.
• One or more engineering disciplines: Storage Engineering: multiple enterprise HPE Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Engineering: Cisco network LAN/WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN), Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering: VMware vCloud Enterprise Suite; hybrid cloud with multiple classified Government clouds.
