ABC Home & Commercial Services is Hiring an Accounting and Collections Customer Service Representative Near Lewisville, TX

Description

Under general supervision, the Accounting CSR will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers, employees, and vendors of ABC at all times. To be successful as an Accounting CSR you should be able to effectively communicate with both customers and staff to provide the absolute best service possible. This position requires the ability to be confident and decisive and yet demonstrate effective judgment in a widely varying and constantly changing set of scenarios. Excellent people skills, a positive attitude and a team player mentality are pertinent to this role.

Essential Functions/Objectives:

  • Answer accounting customer service inbound calls and emails.
  • Initiate outbound collections calls to customers who have a balance owed on their account.
  • Initiate outbound calls to update credit card information on file due to declined, lost or expired credit card.
  • Provide professional, timely, accurate and efficient customer service to all requests, both verbally and through written communications.
  • Resolve or diffuse issues and provide timely feedback to supervisor regarding customer/staff concerns.
  • Resolve customer concerns by clarifying the complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting corrections and/or adjustments, then following up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records by immediately updating account information.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all tasks are completed timely and accurately.
  • Contribute to team efforts, provide backup/support whenever needed.
  • Attend meetings, training and/or any other required events.
  • Work in partnership with other departments/employees to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Always maintain a positive attitude.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate well by utilizing strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work under pressure in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment, while maintaining a good composure
  • Ability to understand basic billing and accounting
  • Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Ability to deal with difficult people while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
  • Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills required
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking is a plus
