We are seeking an Asset Manager to support Real Property Management (RPM) at the Department of State. RPM is currently working on multiple design and construction projects, located in DC and other areas of the US.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Asset Management coordination across the assigned program(s) as a single point of contact for all Government Property (GP) matters
· Control and maintain Government Property in accordance with contract provisions, MS Directives/Instructions and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
· Responsible for Program Property Playbook (RPM listings) accuracy and work with program management to ensure appropriate lifecycle management
· Attend meetings with the Program Office and Government customer representatives
· Single point of contact for all property related requests from the customer.
· Contract Closeout lead
· Work with Program personnel to ensure the RPM Asset Management processes are being followed
· Assist in bi-annual inventory and records clean-up for the programs you are assigned to.
· Training and educating others in property management policies and procedures
Qualifications
· Must have a SECRET CLEARANCE and be a U.S. Citizen to apply
· Experience in Federal government office planning preferred
· Five to seven years of proven experience in asset management.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to client.
· Ability to work in a team environment and possess good collaboration skills
· Experience with Marketing and Business Development efforts highly desired
· Computer literacy sufficient to operate spreadsheet and word processing applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint)
· Industry accreditations preferred (CCIM, ISO 5500)
· Applicants selected will be subject to a background investigation
Travel Required:
Occasional travel - Occasional travel may be expected for this position.
