Description
A.L. Hansen Mfg. Co., an ISO-9001 certified company, and leading manufacturer in the commercial hardware industry has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical background.
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Perform mechanical repairs to production equipment per specifications.
2. Make necessary electrical repairs to production equipment.
3. Perform preventative maintenance to production equipment.
4. Must wear required personal protective equipment.
5. Troubleshoot electrical circuits.
6. Follow all OSHA and Company safety standards.
7. Follow all LOTO procedures.
8. Perform facility maintenance of the building.
9. Prioritize and schedule efficient repair of equipment to minimize down time.

1. Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
2. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
3. Strong Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting of high and low voltage.
4. Knowledge of Wintriss and/or I.S.B. Press Control.
5. Ability to read and understand blueprints.
6. High school diploma or equivalent required with technical schooling in electrical/mechanical.
7. Knowledge of company related OSHA safety regulations.
8. Knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting.
9. Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out safety procedures.
10. Ability to maintain a forklift driver’s license.
11. Must have own tools and tool box.
12. Ability to operate a scissor lift safely.
13. Ability to lift 60lbs.
14. Knowledge of mechanical machinery operation & troubleshooting.
Position is first shift Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Occasional overtime required.
