The Groundskeeper is responsible for keeping 88 Tactical’s property clean and orderly for our members, employees, and the general public. The Groundskeeper maintains the building’s cleanliness in all public areas inside and keeps the building exterior and surrounding property free of trash, debris, and weeds. This individual must maintain all issued tools and equipment as needed. The Groundskeeper must communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Following daily schedules provided by the Retail Manager
- Sweeping and mopping common areas (retail floor, hallways, and restrooms)
- Vacuuming classrooms, carpeted areas, and mats around the facility
- Cleaning and disinfecting workout equipment
- Collecting and disposing of trash throughout the facility
- Cleaning windows and TV screens
- Wiping down and disinfecting hard surfaces (countertops, tables, and desks)
- Parking lot clean-up of litter and trash
- Shoveling and salting sidewalks (seasonal)
- Weeding and basic shrubbery pruning
- Cleaning the restrooms and locker rooms
- Maintaining Restroom supplies and reordering as needed
- Other general cleaning and maintenance as required by the Manager
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license
- Proficient in using manual and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain a daily schedule
- Proficient with sending emails and able to communicate professionally
- Physically agile and fit to perform required duties
