Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team at 88 Tactical. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in classic cocktails, a passion for whiskey, excellent communication skills, and must be able to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:

Greeting guests as they arrive at the bar and providing excellent customer service
Taking drink orders and making recommendations to customers
Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
Operating the cash register and handling cash and credit card transactions
Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and handling cash responsibly
Keeping the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware and utensils
Restocking the bar with supplies and inventory as needed
Adhering to all safety and health regulations, including checking IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
Building and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience at the bar

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and the ability to make recommendations to customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
