Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage and supervise hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, such as coordinating with the kitchen for room service orders or working with the sales team for group bookings
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Manage the hotel's budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue streams
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to attract new guests and increase occupancy rates

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software
- Knowledge of human resources practices, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus, especially if serving international guests
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial
