What Will You Be Doing

• Overseeing the overall operations of Specifica’s Durham lab, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Providing operational and technical leadership in executing lab processes and procedures.
• Meeting the lab’s safety, quality, delivery, and financial goals.
• Ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service are maintained.
• Working closely with Specifica’s Santa Fe operations to execute and resolve any corrective actions.
• Establishing effective staff selection and training programs.
• Participating in the development and implementation of the department’s operating budget.
• Fostering a unified culture and facilitating collaboration, cooperation, sharing of information and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in laboratory management and administration.
• A track record of successful delivery of customer projects.
• Experience in managing day-to-day lab activities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to laboratory operations.
• Experience in staff selection and training.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $132,400.00 - $225,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
