We are seeking a Assay Development, Associate Scientist to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Austin TX.

The Assay Development, Associate Scientist is instrumental in conducting experimental tasks to support assay/method development programs under the guidance of senior staff.

What you’ll be doing:

• Executing experimental tasks for assay validation and development.
• Cross-training in various areas of expertise.
• Supporting assay development through assigned tasks and activities.
• Organizing and maintaining the lab environment.
• Monitoring inventory for experimental needs.
• Maintaining laboratory notebooks under regulatory standards.
• Ensuring quality and timely delivery of data to clients.
• Upholding safety and 6S standards in the lab.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 1 year of experience in method or assay development.
• Knowledge of lab principles, terminology, and instrumentation.
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Understanding of sample handling and preparation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $52,500.00 - $87,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
