HR Specialist Job Description:
- Support and exhibit the customer service standards and Team Excellence Guidelines
- Ensure that service level agreements are met with regard to data modifications and service response.
- Assist with form-driven data changes as a subject matter expert, reviewing and resolving issues relating to the requested data change, considering downstream effects of changes, providing supporting documentation for changes, and more.
- Handle and keep track of data transactions and documents.
- Investigate problems and escalation issues in relation to employee data.
- Work together on solutions for escalating difficulties by communicating with the HR SS teams.
- Document transactions and case status to properly indicate the stage of completion.
- Retain up-to-date familiarity with local, state, and federal employment law.
- Bachelor's degree with 1 year of hands-on experience in HR
- Associate degree with 3 years of hands-on experience in HR
- 5 years of hands-on experience is required if a college degree is not completed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience with PeopleSoft (preferred)
6 months contract to hire based on performance
Pay Rate:
$20-$23 based on experience
Schedule:
M-F daytime hours.
