Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Payroll Specialist with expertise in ADP to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing: Handle bi-weekly payroll for over 1,400 employees using the ADP Payroll System.
• Policy Development: Recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures, including maintaining an up-to-date handbook.
• Benefits Administration: Manage benefits administration, including claims resolution, cost-effectiveness evaluations, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Affirmative Action Program: Maintain and update the affirmative action program, ensuring compliance with EEO regulations.
• Record Keeping: Establish and maintain department records, organizational charts, and employee directories.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate department initiatives and recommend process improvements.
• Electronic Personnel Files: Manage electronic personnel files, including new hire paperwork, compliance forms, and employee profile changes.
• Benefit Enrollments: Process benefit enrollments for employees within the 90-day waiting period.
• Employee Training: Oversee ongoing employee food handling training certification.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience, with a focus on ADP.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Certification: ADP Certified Payroll Specialist certification is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
