20/20 Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is Hiring an IT Help Desk Support Near Las Vegas, NV

General Responsibility:

IT Help Desk Support is responsible for providing technical support and assistance. They interact with employees by phone or in-person to resolve their computer problems related to software and hardware issues to help them get back up running smoothly again and is responsible for the administration, repairs, upgrades, installations, troubleshooting, and technical support needed for all divisions.

Significant Duties:

  • Performs scheduling and execute setup of new PC’s.
  • Performs schedule and execute movement and arrangements of existing PC’s.
  • Assignment, deployment, and setup of iPad/Android
  • Performs new user setups.
  • Create/Edit employee profiles in Active Directory (including User/ Scan drives).
  • Responsible for reset AD/Email passwords.
  • Responsible for file Recovery.
  • Responsible for identifying hardware and software solutions.
  • Performs the use remote applications to deploy mass updates.
  • Performs troubleshooting technical issues, diagnosing, and repairing faults and resolves network issues.
  • Assist remote users with SSL-VPN web portal/Forti-Client/LogMeIn
  • Responsible for installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • Responsible for adding users to designated printers/scanners/plotters.
  • Assigning, installing, and configuring iPad and Androids Tablets.
  • Speaking to staff in a timely manner to get to the root of their problem.
  • Providing timely and accurate staff feedback.
  • Taking staff through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
  • Following up with staff to ensure the problem is resolved.
  • Responsible for replacing and/or repairing equipment and parts.
  • Assisting and providing support of the rollout of new applications.
  • Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
  • Managing and assisting with multiple help desk tickets at the same time.
  • Close assigned help desk open tickets.
  • Maintain organization of documentation (issue track).
  • Manage hardware inventory.
  • Testing and evaluating new hardware & software.
  • Providing support for Jive system/ GoTo Connect Meetings/Teams Meetings.
  • Test, install and set up application programs on user workstations.
  • Adding Computers to the Domain.
  • Log in users into Sage.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School graduate and/or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field for desktop support specialists is a plus. An associate degree or diploma may be acceptable in some cases if the applicant has a strong background working with technical systems and can show outstanding knowledge.
  • 3 years’ Experience working with technical systems.
  • CompTIA A Certification or strong technical background
  • California Class C Driver License, with good DMV record is required.
  • Must be able to use critical thinking to effectively solve issues.
  • Ability to communicate well, motivate the team, delegate responsibilities, listen to feedback, and delegate responsibilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Self-motivated and follows direction of supervisors, but also able to work without constant direct supervision.
  • Excellent verbal/ written communications skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex content and documents.
  • Safety oriented and quality driven.
  • Position requires the ability to travel to all of 20/20 business locations.
  • Always maintains appropriate 2020 confidentiality.
  • Protects the assets of 2020 and ethically upholds the company standards.

  • Windows 10 & 11
  • IOS & Android
  • MS Office 365
  • Antivirus like Trend Micro

Required Basic Understanding:

  • VPN client
  • Inventory management
  • Remote supporting Tools (Team viewer, Support assist …etc.)
  • Project management application like Monday.com
  • Issue tracking system like Issue-Track
  • VOIP Phone systems

Physical Requirements:

The position of IT Support requires that you are able to lift objects that weight up to 25 pounds, climb a ladder, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and work above head and below waist. Exposed to work in outdoor and indoor weather conditions. Ability to sit long periods, stand, walk, climb stairs and use of hands, fingers, wrists, and arms. Travel to jobsites will be necessary and would require the ability to walk on uneven unclean terrain for several hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
