1871 Member Company is Hiring a Parallel Works - Senior HPC Sales Executive Near Chicago, IL

Do you find new technologies like High Performance Computing (HPC), cloud computing, machine learning (ML) intriguing? If so, you might be interested in a position as a Senior HPC Sales Executive at Parallel Works.

As a Parallel Works Senior HPC Sales Executive you will have the opportunity to be part of a technology engineering and sales team in a cross-functional, distributed environment. Parallel Works is a leader in democratizing high performance computing technology to support compute-intensive research across academia, government, and industry. We are advancing our world-class technology platform and looking for a Senior HPC Sales Executive to be responsible for originating new relationships with prospective customers, federal programs, converting opportunities into revenue, managing customer relationships post sale, and growing our partner network. The ideal candidate is experienced in highly technical sales environments with strong written and verbal communication skills.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience growing ARR in technical computing markets (HPC, ML/AI, cloud etc).
  • 5 years of experience in outbound sales and/or relationship management.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field.
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of AI/ML or HPC industry and knowledge of industry trends.
  • Fast learner and enthusiastic sales professional.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (SalesForce, HubSpot, etc) and Google Suite / Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to generate a pipeline and execute on quantitative targets.
  • The ability and desire to sell Parallel Works offerings into the HPC and ML/AI markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Set up meetings with prospective customers
  • Originate new customer relationships
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on Parallel Works services
  • Engage as customer relationship manager and point of contact
  • Provide customers with quotes and proposals
  • Negotiate terms of deals and agreements to close sales with customers
  • Bring in appropriate engineering support as needed for custom integrations
  • Analyze sales platforms with an emphasis on future growth
  • Track Sales and propose ideas for progress
