Position OverviewThis position reports to the Compliance Manager. The Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing our current management systems: ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 45001, ISO 27001 and Responsible Recycling (R2), as well as any future management systems as they relate to the environment, safety, occupational health, security, quality, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities: Document, organize, and maintain each management system, including past documented objective evidence. Perform period audits on all relative departmental operations and recommend corrective or preventive actions as necessary. Assist with regular trainings at planned intervals. Stay current with all applicable regulatory requirements and adjust policies and procedures as necessary to remain in compliance. Interface with internal and external interested parties, third party auditing bodies, and regulatory agencies. Collect and analyze data to diagnose challenges and make recommendations for improvement. Maintain open communication between all levels of ITRenew. Willingness to travel up to 30%, some may include international. Other responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the environmental and/or manufacturing industry. Past experience with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, R2 and/or E-Stewards. Past internal/external auditing experience. Strong listening, critical reasoning, detail-oriented and root cause (fact-finding) skills. Customer service focused and committed to achieving performance metrics.
