12Twenty is Hiring a Remote Event Marketing Manager

About the Role

12twenty is seeking a results-oriented Event Marketing Manager to join our small yet powerful marketing team. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for events. This person will have a hands-on approach with their event management style, and will work closely with our marketing team and salespeople to plan and execute events. This position is responsible for creating in-person and virtual experiences, collaborating cross functionally with sales, product, marketing, and Customer Success to deliver on business goals (including lead generation, revenue, and brand awareness). Successful candidates will possess impeccable communication skills, both written and oral, and must be incredibly organized and detail oriented - managing the programs for many simultaneous events and stakeholders.

This role will manage end-to-end planning and execution of events - including creation and communication of event playbooks, team coordination / project management, logistics, budgeting, and tracking of KPIs. This includes large hosted events, smaller sales activities and events, conference/trade show participation, as well as internal company meetings. These events are a key part of building brand awareness, driving demand and nurturing current and future prospects, ultimately helping the 12twenty sales team deliver on its goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, produce, and execute field events that are in-person and virtual events, including: our own user-conference, dozens of trade shows, customer appreciation events, and internal meetings
  • Create and manage our event calendar (ensuring there is brand coverage across all relevant industry/trade-specific events and broader categories, organizing and preparing event deliverables, etc.);
  • Drive all the cross-department collaboration and communication to execute your vision for in-person and virtual event participation
  • Define success metrics, goals, and their relativity to department and company goals;
  • Ensure attending team members are well prepared for their involvement at each event and have the resources/collateral they need during the event.
  • Manage and create event & field marketing budgets including forecasting, accruals, opening PO's, payment status and reconciliation
  • Build event playbooks to ensure consistency and success
  • Support internal communication across multiple departments (sales, marketing, customer success) on expectations, goals, deliverables, event logistics, acquisition of attendee & sponsor lists, and performance

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in demand generation/field marketing within B2B enterprise software or cloud-based solutions
  • Proven familiarity with owning and executing on marketing events (webinars, conferences, exclusive events)
  • Skilled, positive, optimistic collaborator adept at building relationships, and driving results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in vendor management and negotiating
  • Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, creative, and analytical
  • Proven experience managing, owning, and tracking a budget
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills; excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and rapidly changing priorities
  • High EQ with a strong drive toward listening, understanding and empathy.
  • Ability to travel to events on an as needed basis

Additional Requirements

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Hubspot CRMs
  • Familiarity with Zoom Webinar or similar virtual event software
  • Comfortable with Zoom Meeting
  • Excited to work in a remote first environment

Annual compensation range: Up to $75,000
