In this role, the Estimator will be responsible for reviewing contract documents (design drawings, specs, proposal, etc.) to prepare pricing estimates while developing and maintaining communication with engineers, contractors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to read and understand contract drawings.

Perform material take-offs. Produce cost estimates for Senior Estimator review.

Coordinate with project management.

Scheduling / Delivery Coordination. Communicate with the Customers.

Assist with review of Invitations to bid.

Qualifications:

5 or more years of proven steel estimating experience

Proven ability to return a profit on operations.

Engineering and Construction knowledge.

Strong organizational and time management experience

Ability to read contract documents to set priorities, to meet bid deadlines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
