THE ROLE

As Field Services Manager, Europe, you will be tasked with ensuring Skytree’s products are supported and maintained effectively and efficiently on a regional scale through our Uptime Assurance SLA’s and a network of external services support companies. This is an exciting and challenging role where you will be responsible for developing the regional services function & partners to deliver a seamless customer experience. Customer satisfaction and delight will be at the forefront of everything you do as well as maintaining high excellence standards. Overall, you will be responsible for regional services activity within Europe to deliver profitability and uptime assurance to our customers.
The candidate will spearhead local European customer services and will report into the Global Operations & Services Director.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Managing and building out external support team(s) and ensuring that all customer concerns and requests are attended with a high level of professionalism and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Ensuring that the performance of the services complies with requirements of Local Authority.

  • Management and reporting of scheduled maintenance work packages/tasks during planned down time to ensure on time return to service.

  • Management and reporting of unscheduled maintenance work packages/tasks to ensure asset return to service.

  • Be accountable for field service in relation to the uptime assurance programme.

  • Being a focal point during asset downtime recovery to minimize delay and disruption impact

  • Managing inventory stock levels and distribution to worksites as and when required

  • Reconciliation of monthly accounts for management review as well as handling local disputes

  • Development of maintenance plans for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance.

  • Promoting and driving continuous QHS&E training to improve troubleshooting skills for external field services support.

  • Ensuring compliance with Skytree QHSE standards through regular audit of service partners and logistics providers

  • Reporting safety related issues which occur during maintenance and ensure the team takes corrective action to prevent recurrence.

  • Conducting After action reviews and finalizing close out reports for both customer and global services function.

  • Liaising with customer project managers and commercial teams to ensure future site installations which are supported by company are carried out with respect to time, safety and cost.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Unyielding commitment to excellence, delivering the best possible outcomes for customers.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage contracted external 3rd party suppliers

  • Project/continuous improvement skills.

  • Great organizational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, working to changing deadline and attention to details,

  • 5 years’ of experience in operations and/or service/aftermarket leadership in a hardware company with a focus on lean process management.

  • Experience with outsourced field services and distributed spare parts management on a regional or national level.

  • Project management and installation experience with CAPEX values up to 10 million Euro.

  • Excellent sales and customer relationship management skills are essential.

  • Experience with Microsoft D365 or similar.

  • Proficiency in English, Dutch would be an advantage.

This role will be based in Amsterdam at our headquarters. Regular travel to work, contractor and customer sites can be expected.
