THE ROLE

We are now looking for a proactive, energetic Finance Assistant to be part of our small, friendly Finance team and support all aspects of finance administration. Initially a 7 month fixed-term contract, this role has a lot of scope to grow and develop with the business with an eventual possibility of a permanent contract. You will work closely with our Financial & Control Specialist and support our Financial Controller and CFO, making it a great opportunity to get exposure to all things finance and develop on the job.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• Organization of incoming invoices

• Preparation and processing of payments

• Reconciliation of accounts and statements

• Order processing and purchasing

• Acting as the first point of contact for all payment enquiries

• Managing all financial incoming enquiries and invoices

• Filing and record keeping

• General day-to-day administration

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You may have recently graduated with some relevant work experience or already have

• 2-3 years of experience in finance and / or administration

• You are fluent in English, spoken and written, and have some basics of Dutch (A2)

• You possess solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

• You are proactive, adaptable and have a can-do attitude

• You thrive in a busy environment and can multitask

• You live in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Amsterdam
