Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join Ouro’s Risk Management Team as the Director of Fraud Risk Management. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of strategies to mitigate fraud risks for our global payment products, ensuring the security of transactions and the protection of our customers' assets. You will oversee a team of fraud analysts and specialists, driving continuous improvement in fraud prevention, detection, and response capabilities. Your expertise in fraud risk management and your strategic vision will be critical in maintaining trust with Ouro’s customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fraud risk management strategies and initiatives for our global consumer products, including debit cards, credit products, mobile payments, and digital wallets.

• Lead a team of fraud analysts and specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their effectiveness in identifying and mitigating fraud risks.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to integrate fraud prevention measures into new and existing products, ensuring security by design.

• Lead regular assessments of fraud trends, patterns, and vulnerabilities, leveraging data analytics and business intelligence tools to identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.

• Implement and monitor fraud detection systems and tools, optimizing their performance through configuration, tuning, and integration with other risk management solutions.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as card networks, law enforcement agencies, and industry associations, to stay informed about industry best practices and emerging threats.

• Manage the investigation and resolution of fraud incidents, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to minimize financial losses and mitigate reputational damage.

• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fraud risk management, ensuring compliance and alignment with industry best practices.

• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and bank partners, providing insights into fraud risk trends, mitigation efforts, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of progressive experience in fraud risk management within the financial services industry, with a focus on consumer payment products.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies, policies, and procedures.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with fraud detection systems and tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively

  collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate emerging fraud risks and proactively

  implement preventive measures.

• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance business

  objectives with risk mitigation priorities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing

  priorities and circumstances.

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Fraud

  Examiner, Certified Fraud Risk Manager) preferred.
