Montgomery County Educational Service Center is Hiring a TESOL Teacher Near Dayton, OH
Description: Applications are now being accepted for our new International Learning Center. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced TESOL Teacher to join our team and provide English language instruction to migrant, refugee, and newcomer students grades K-12. In this role, you will play a critical role in helping students develop the language skills they need to succeed academically, professionally, and socially in their new environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid ODE License - TESOL P-12
- Previous experience teaching English language learners, particularly migrants, refugees, and newcomers.
- Knowledge of language acquisition theory, bilingual education principles, and best practices in TESOL instruction.
- Familiarity with culturally responsive teaching strategies, cross-cultural communication, and trauma-informed practices.
- Fluency in languages commonly spoken by migrant and refugee communities in the area is highly desirable.
- Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and criminal records check (Provided for free by MCESC)
Annual Salary: from $46,771
