Montgomery County Educational Service Center is Hiring an Educational Assistant - Preschool Near Dayton, OH

Position: Preschool Educational Aide
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Preschool Educational Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with preschool-aged refugee students, providing support and assistance to ensure their educational and emotional needs are met.
Assignment: Montgomery County ESC Learning Centers Early Chilhood Program
Start date: 08/01/2024
Duty Days: 193 ( for a full school year) 5 days a week
Hrs. per day: 7
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid ODE Educational Aide Permit

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Understanding of the unique challenges faced by refugee populations and a commitment to supporting their integration and success in the classroom.
Fluency in languages commonly spoken by refugee communities in the area is highly desirable.

Associates Degree in Early Childhood or a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Satisfactory results on fingerprinting and criminal records check. (Provided for free by MCESC)
Salary: $22.00-$27.48/ hour
