Introduction:
Malibu Jack’s is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee operations at our Springfield, IL facility. This role is crucial for steering the operations, fostering a growth-oriented environment, and leading a dedicated team to enhance the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management: Supervise a diverse team of nearly 100 employees including recruitment, training, and performance management. Ensure staff adhere to company policies and deliver exceptional service.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations ensuring compliance with operational standards and regulations. Oversee cash handling, facility maintenance, and customer service functions.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency and business growth. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with OSHA guidelines and maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and managing costs within company targets. Prepare and report financial and operational metrics to Corporate management.
- Marketing and Customer Relations: Enhance the facility’s marketing presence and manage customer relationships, including handling escalated customer service issues.
- Technology Proficiency: Manage operations using the Embed swiper system and Centeredge POS system.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a general management or director-level role, preferably in a high-volume or entertainment setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, result-oriented, highly organized with a proven ability to motivate and manage a large team.
- Physical: Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 39 lbs unaided.
