As our Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will oversee and manage the accounts payable processes across multiple entities, including Blazer5 Gaming, the Trail Blazers Foundation, and Rip City affiliations. Your contribution will play a pivotal role in supporting our Finance function.

DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Responsible for vendor setup, data entry, and processing of vendor invoices and related payments and/or intercompany billings.
  • Perform Accounts Payable duties across multiple entities – Blazer5 Gaming, the Trail Blazers Foundation, Rip City Remix G League, and Rip City Management.
  • Prepare and process Accounts Payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Interface directly with vendors and co-workers to troubleshoot invoice issues, process adjustments, and seek direct resolutions.
  • Analyze workflow processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Perform monthly accounts payable closing duties adhering to deadlines, including reconciliations and the recording monthly journal entries for adjustments/entries.
  • Act as administrator for Concur Expense - reviewing budget coding and descriptions entered into the system by cardholders, constructing monthly journal entries, following up with cardholders to submit reports by deadlines, and ordering and cancelling credit cards as needed.
  • Compile and review 1099 information for annual IRS reporting and vendor notices.
  • Provide back-up/assistance for the other AP Coordinator.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

  • Hold an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or have a combination of education and experience that equates.
  • Bring 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Have hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Possess outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, time management, and interpersonal abilities.
